AI usage and account limits
Understand monthly runs, simultaneous analyses, export access, and private run links.
Free allowance: 20 free runs per calendar month (UTC), shared across assay and Flow analysis. Required setup answers are included with each run; later refinements and follow-ups count as another run. Manual flow tools do not use runs. See Pricing for available plans.
What uses the allowance
The Free tier includes 20 free runs per calendar month (UTC), shared between assay and Flow analysis. Each new analysis uses one run; required setup answers for that run are included. Later refinements, follow-up messages, and answers count as another run. A saved run is a container for analysis history; the allowance counts admitted analyses and later follow-ups as runs.
Manual flow gating, compensation, and plotting do not use runs. Check the account usage display before starting another analysis.
Monthly and concurrent limits
The free allowance is 20 free runs per calendar month (UTC), shown below and on Pricing. The service also limits simultaneous analyses to protect shared capacity. A waiting-for-user assay can still occupy an active slot.
When you reach a concurrent limit, review your open analyses and finish, answer, or stop the appropriate task. When you reach the monthly limit, use the reset information in the account interface. Deleting a run or stopping work is not a guaranteed way to recover consumed allowance.
Failed or stopped work
Usage is reserved when requests are admitted. Some failures can occur after work has already begun, so do not assume a stopped or failed analysis is free. Repeated retries and follow-ups may create additional usage.
For unexpected usage, keep the run ID and approximate request times and contact the team. Do not repeatedly resubmit the same request to test whether the allowance changes.
Exports and paid plans
Free accounts receive 20 free runs per calendar month (UTC) and have PNG and basic CSV results export. SVG, PDF, Excel, Python replay, and audit-bundle exports depend on an active entitlement. Existing entitled accounts may have access even while new paid subscriptions are coming soon.
Use the current Pricing page and account controls to determine what is available. Planned team, API, or billing features should not be treated as enabled simply because they are described in a roadmap.
Run access and copied links
Assay runs are private to their owner. Copying a run URL makes it easy to reopen or bookmark the analysis; it does not invite a collaborator or grant permission to read the results.
For a collaborator to review a result, share an appropriate downloaded artifact through your chosen channel. Check the artifact scope and contents before sending it. Flow workspace membership and figure-sharing controls are separate features with their own access settings.
